I think it's important to have a morning routine. Maybe even a ritual, if you will.
Most mornings I wake up, splash my face with cool water and make my tea. A nettle infusion is made before going to bed each evening, so I strain that into my glass.
Then it's time for yoga & meditation. It's important not to skip this part. It can be so easy to say there are other things to do. There's always something else you could be doing, right? But these two are KEY to getting into the right brain-space & physical space for the day. When I skip them (& there are times), I always wish that I hadn't.
This is my simple routine for weekday mornings. Weekends are a little less structured sometimes. I would encourage you to get into a selfcare routine. Something just for you. Even if you have to break it up and do other things in between, it's important to take care of yourself, both physically & mentally.
