how to use
For makeup removal
Massage onto your face, then remove with a wet wash cloth. We like to use cool water for this because hot water can be drying to the delicate skin on your face when used frequently.
For Oil Cleansing
Massage onto face & neck in a circular motion. Leave on for 5-10 minutes then drape a warm, wet washcloth over your face & neck, then wipe away the cleansing oil. Rinse and repeat. You may wish to follow with our Hydrating Facial Mist, Aloe & Coconut Milk Moisturizer or Superfruit Facial Serum
About Oil Cleansing:
Cleansing oils are an effective way to dissolve excess oil, dirt and makeup, and rinse away daily pollutants. Many cleansers are harsh and can strip your skin's naturally occurring beneficial oils. This is not necessary and can actually do more harm than good. Cleansing oils help restore your skin's natural balance without stripping its natural oils.
You'll want to start by dispensing 1-2 pumps of our cleansing oil into clean hands, then massaging onto your face in a circular motion. Go ahead and take this time to give yourself a relaxing facial massage. A jade roller or a Gua Sha facial tool are good for this - or, you know, your fingers are really just fine. No need to go buy tools if you don't have them. Massage your face for a few minutes, then wet a clean cloth with warm water, wring it out and place over your face. The warm, wet cloth will help your pores release the dirt & oil that have accumulated. Leave the cloth on your face for a minute or so, then wipe away the cleansing oil, rinse the cloth and repeat, if needed.
**It's important to note that it can sometimes (not always) take a few days for your skin to adjust to this new way of cleansing. Trust us, you'll love it!
